About This Project

This project is a card index to naturalization records from the district and circuit courts of Southern California. The cards were created to index records about individuals who applied for naturalization or admission to the United States. These cards are a rich genealogical resource. In addition to the names and surnames of those who went through the naturalization process, the cards often include information about the individuals' age, birth date, nationality, dates of arrival in the United States and naturalization as citizens, and street address.
