Please note: The data entry area is set at one record per image; however, you may need to adjust the number of lines to match the number of records on your image and you may see records that span batches. Click on the Project Information tab for more information on how to add records in the data entry area and on what to do when records span two batches.

This project includes three record types: baptism (baptême), marriage (mariage), and burial (inhumation). To select the record type:

  1. Click in the Record Type field.
  2. Click the down arrow at the right side of the field to display the options.
  3. Click the correct record type.

Select Autre (other) as the record type if your batch contains a document other than the three types listed above and it has information to index.

For fields that do not have any information to be indexed, press Ctrl+to mark required fields (fields marked with asterisks) as blank or press Tab to skip fields that are not required.
